Energy Performance Certificates
Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) are needed whenever a property is built, sold or rented. If you are planning to sell or rent your property, you need to order an EPC for potential buyers and tenants before the property goes on the market. An EPC contains information about a property's energy use and typical energy costs and also provides recommendations about how to reduce energy use and lower costs.
Once completed you will receive a certificate which gives the property an energy efficiency rating from A (most efficient) to G (least efficient) and the EPC is valid for 10 years.
Contact us today and speak to one of our Domestic Energy Assessors for details on obtaining an EPC. McQuoids will provide a FREE EPC with every residential registration.
